We can supply you with custom design and manufactured yacht signs, name boards and lettering. The letters are machine cut then precision mounted by hand.

All have the option of being back-lighted with waterproof high performance LED lighting or fibre optics. We can also design and supply logos, adhesives, etc.

The work “Ebanista” in Spanish comes from the same root as “ebony” in English - the hard, heavy, durable and dark-coloured heartwood of the ebony tree which takes a very fine glossy polish.

The finest ebony originally came from Mauritius and India, and it is used in cabinetwork, piano keys chessboards, cutlery handles, etc. An “Ebanista” in Spanish appeared in the XVIII century to differentiate it from the term carpentry, entrusted with the working of this fine and rare wood.

In modern terms, it is still the name given to a master cabinetmaker, a very fine and experienced artisan, such as Ponsec use. Our main carpentry work:
